An exciting opportunity has arisen at a two University Hospitals located in both the South and North of England to join the Respiratory Medicine team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide care and diagnostic services for patients presenting with Respiratory illnesses.
The department provides both an inpatient, outpatient and day case Sleep & Ventilation Service, Interstitial Lung Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma, Lung Cancer, Pleural Procedures and General Respiratory services across both our sites.
Each Trust is a University Teaching Hospital with its own Medical School and a newly built Academic Complex.
Both locations are located centrally with fast road and rail links to the rest of the UK. Housing in the north is plentiful, varied and cheap and you will find excellent shopping and cultural facilitates in both the North and the South.

BDI Resourcing are searching for a Middle Grade (ST4-8 level) Paediatrician to work within a highly reputable NHS foundation Trust in the North (just outside of Leeds) with a ‘good’ CQC- immediate start

BDI Resourcing have an exciting opportunity for a Doctor, to fill an NHS Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist (with CESR support) post.
Role:
To provide, to a high standard, the full range of specialist diagnosis and care to patients requiring respiratory and general medicine care including:
o Inpatient work – The new consultant will work as part of the team on a dedicated respiratory ward managing patients with acute respiratory and general medical conditions. The ward is able to manage patients on Bi-level Ventilation, CPAP and HFNO; including patients stepping down from HDU/ICU including on occasions tracheostomised patients. The ward has a dedicated USS machine for pleural ultrasound and a ward based treatment room.
o Inpatient Referrals – supporting the Emergency Medical Unit, Ambulatory Care and other general ward areas, enabling the efficient and effective assessment and initial management of all respiratory patients.
o Participation in the on call consultant physician rota, including a 12 hour on site requirement at weekends and bank holidays.
o Outpatient work – The new consultant will provide 2-3 outpatient clinics per week, seeing general respiratory referrals, with the opportunity to develop a specialty clinic.
o The post holder will work closely with all grades of Foundation and Specialty Training Doctors and Specialist Registrars within Medicine
?? The respiratory team comprises (subject to review): an ST3 (NTN), Registrar (non-training post), Core Trainee/SHO, Foundation Year 2 (non-training), Foundation Year 1 (x2), Physicians Associate
? To work within the multidisciplinary team to support the development of in house, county wide and community respiratory services.
? Except in emergencies or where otherwise agreed with your manager, you are responsible for fulfilling the duties and responsibilities and undertaking the Programmed Activities set out in your job plan: which will be reviewed on an annual basis.
? To fully engage in the Appraisal Process and fulfill targets identified in the PDP. These objectives are not contractually binding but you have a duty to make all reasonable efforts to achieve them.
