We are working with a well-established healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia, looking to appoint a Consultant Dermatologist. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled specialist to join a dedicated and dynamic team committed to delivering the highest standard of dermatological care.
Interview

Role and Responsibilities
You will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing a wide range of dermatological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your daily duties will include conducting initial assessments, ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing treatments, and following up with patients to ensure optimal outcomes.
You’ll be responsible for managing your clinic sessions according to the approved rota set by the Medical Director. You will also be required to admit patients where appropriate, prescribe therapies or medications, and oversee patient care plans. Collaboration with other medical departments is expected, including providing consultation services and making specialist referrals as needed.
Additional duties include:
- Supervising and coordinating care with nurses, junior doctors, therapists, and support staff
- Conducting daily ward rounds and documenting medical records with accuracy and timeliness
- Performing diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within the limits of your clinical privileges
- Approving discharge summaries and ensuring follow-up plans are in place
- Participating in departmental meetings, hospital committees, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engaging in the education of patients, families, and the wider community on dermatological health
- Supporting and mentoring junior doctors, interns, and residents in a clinical training capacity
- Being on-call as per the hospital policy and contributing to emergency response teams when required
- Upholding Islamic values and medical ethics in all aspects of patient care
This is a full-time position with a structured rota, offering a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and protected time for administrative duties and professional development.

This opportunity will be based in Jeddah or Riyadh, the Medical Group has a range of private hospitals across the two cities and further afield. The location of the role will be confirmed post-successful interview.

The Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognised institution
- Completion of residency in dermatology, CCT or CESR and Specialist Registered
- At least five years of post-specialty clinical experience in a tertiary care setting
- Board Certification, Membership, Fellowship, or equivalent in Dermatology
- Eligible for licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team environment
