This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Clinical Oncology with a specialist interest in Breast and Skin Malignancies. The department is looking for an experienced oncologist to join a dedicated team and contribute to high-quality patient care. Role and Responsibilities
- Providing specialist oncology care to patients with breast and skin malignancies, including outpatient consultations, chemotherapy prescribing, and inpatient management
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiologists, dermatologists, pathologists, and specialist nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participating in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
- Contributing to the development of clinical protocols and pathways to enhance service delivery
- Participating in audit, research, and quality improvement projects within the department
- Supervising and supporting junior medical staff and trainees
- Contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and junior doctors
- Participating in the consultant on-call rota as required

The Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- CCT in Clinical Oncology (or within six months of completion)
- Experience in managing breast and skin malignancies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in leading clinical trials or research projects
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (or equivalent)
- Additional sub-specialty interests complementing breast and skin oncology
