We are working with a leading healthcare group in the Central Region of Saudi Arabia to appoint an experienced Consultant Urologist. Role and Responsibilities

As a Consultant Urologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of urology. Your duties will include:

  • Managing inpatient and outpatient consultations and treatment plans, from assessment to follow-up
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and developing appropriate care plans
  • Performing specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within your scope of privileges
  • Participating in daily rounds, reviewing and countersigning junior staff documentation, and ensuring timely completion of all patient records
  • Collaborating with other specialists to provide integrated care and referring patients as necessary
  • Taking part in the on-call rota, attending emergency cases, and contributing to hospital emergency response protocols when needed
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring junior medical staff
  • Playing an active role in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contributing to policy development and clinical governance
  • Participating in community education, health promotion, and patient-family education
  • Upholding medical ethics and the hospital’s core values in all clinical activities

The Location

This opportunity will be based in Jeddah or Riyadh, the Medical Group has a range of private hospitals across the two cities and further afield. The location of the role will be confirmed post-successful interview.

You will be joining an advanced and well-respected hospital in one of the regions. 

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Medical degree from a recognised institution and completion of residency training in Urology
  • GMC Specialist Registered (CCT or CESR)
  • Postgraduate certification such as a Membership, Fellowship, or Board Certification in Urology
  • At least three - five years of experience in the specialty following qualification, ideally in a tertiary care hospital setting
  • Valid professional license from your country of origin and eligibility for licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
  • Fluency in English

Desirable Criteria:

  • Subspecialty fellowship training or structured experience in areas such as uro-oncology, endourology, or pediatric urology
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in training junior staff and involvement in policy development
  • Participation in quality improvement projects, research, or community outreach programs
