The Emergency Department are currently seeking motivated doctors to join their department in the Midlands. The hospital is planning a large expansion in the department and are looking for doctors seeking to continue their career in Emergency Medicine. 

This post is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to further their career in Emergency Medicine and pursue specialist registration either through a training post or the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) route. 

The Job

The successful doctor will be provided a clear rota plan which works to an average of around 40 hours per week, with non-clinical duties included within the 40-hour contact. Teaching sessions would be provided on a regular basis throughout the rota as well to supplement the learning. Annual and study leave must be co-ordinated to ensure that there is an acceptable level of medical staff cover (all study leave requests need to be authorised by the Lead Consultant).

The Requirements

To be considered for this role, you MUST meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months NHS experience or MRCEM Primary certification.
  • GMC registration in full.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience within Emergency Medicine.
