Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist (Neuro-Oncology, Head and Neck Cancers)

We’re seeking a passionate Clinical Oncology Consultant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team specializing in Neuro-Oncology and Head & Neck cancers. This is a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of cancer care, driving innovation and improving patient outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with expert multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to deliver outstanding care for Neuro-Oncology and Head & Neck cancer patients.
- Lead and advance peer-reviewed, specialized radiotherapy treatments, including Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRS).
- Participate weekly in SRS/Cyberknife planning and treatment discussions.
- Support and develop services for Radio-Iodine treatments for thyroid cancers, with full training to obtain your ARSAC license.
- Provide cross-cover for MDTs via videoconferencing and liaise with acute services as needed.
- Contribute to the on-call rota (currently 1 in 18 weeks) supporting inpatients and acute oncology services.

- Conduct trial treatments in a fully equipped Cancer Clinical Trials Research Centre.
- Develop your own research projects and collaborate with Warwick and Coventry Universities.
Teaching & Education:
- Engage in medical education with opportunities to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels through Warwick Medical School.
- Mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals while enhancing your leadership and academic skills.
