Cancer Centre
The Cancer Centre provides cancer services to a population of over 1 million, and there are approximately 5,000 new patients annually. The Cancer Centre is based in a large University Hospital which provides both radiotherapy and systemic treatments across all subsites. This post is based in the main Cancer Centre, however there may be some remote commitments or commitments in other Hospital sites, which will be decided on a case-by-case basis. The radiotherapy department offers advanced techniques including Elekta linear accelerators, CT scanners/simulators, IG-IMRT, SABR, brachytherapy, SRS, RSEBT, and more.
