This role is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has got years of experience overseas and is looking for their first role in the NHS. The department has had great success in getting its Clinical Fellows on to Specialty training (the route to CCT) and supporting in CESR Applications- brilliant for an IMG! You’d be coming in as an ST3+ so the role doesn’t come with all of the same responsibilities as a Consultant, giving you an opportunity to get used to the system and settle in. The Hospital is in a beautiful city that is close to London and Bristol- great for someone who wants to live inner-city or settle in the countryside.

The Trust’s Urology Service
The Trust boasts a world-class outpatient facility equipped with 6 consulting rooms, a dedicated flexible cystoscopy/minor-ops suite, urodynamics room, and more. Their integrated setup ensures seamless treatment for a wide spectrum of Urological issues, supported by a team of 35 highly skilled nursing and support staff.
There are currently 9 Consultants in the department, and there is specialised clinics on offer for the patients for a variety of Urological services. These include but are not limited to Prostate and bladder new diagnoses/results clinics, Bladder cancer cystoscopic follow-up and Male and female LUTS clinics. There is also the offer to patients of active surveillance programs, remote PSA follow-up services, continence support, female UTI clinics and cancer support services.
The department has a close working relationship with a wider network of major Urology departments in the region, collaborates closely- for example in MDTs.

Requirements
- GMC Registration with License to Practice (essential)
- MRCS is preferable, or a lot of experience and PLAB
