Are you an experienced emergency medicine doctor looking for a rewarding opportunity within a high-performing NHS hospital? The Hospital is seeking a Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine to join our expert and supportive team. With a thriving Emergency Department, a strong focus on teaching and development, and a fantastic quality of life, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Requirements:
✔ Full GMC registration 
MRCEM/FRCEM
NHS experience 

Main Duties:

• Diverse Caseload: You’ll manage a wide range of emergency cases, including trauma, paediatrics, orthopaedics, acute medicine, and more.
• Ward Coverage: You’ll primarily work in the Emergency Department, collaborating closely with Acute Medicine, SDEC, fracture clinic, and ophthalmology.
• Team Environment: Work alongside 10 Consultants (including CESRed consultants), specialty doctors, trust fellows, ACPs, PAs, and junior trainees.
• Flexible Rota: Shifts include mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends, with an average of one in three weekends covered. The self-rostering system allows for a great work-life balance.
Opportunities for Research & Teaching: Get involved in audits, service improvement projects, teaching medical students, junior doctors, and ED nursing staff.

The Hospital is a high-performing major trauma unit, handling 66,000+ ED patients annually. Rated GOOD by CQC, with outstanding responsiveness, our Emergency Department is nationally recognised for its efficiency and excellence. The hospital has multiple specialties, including trauma, acute medicine, orthopaedics, and paediatrics, ensuring a rich learning environment.
