This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, growing team in the South East of England. Whether you would like to get competencies signed off for training or go through your CESR, then this is the perfect position for you.

Main Duties: 

  • You will be based in the Acute Medical Unit.
  • Participating in the on call rota, frequency is known up on arrival
  • Seeing complex patients including all medical specialties
  • You’ll be working a full middle grade on-call rota alongside the Registrar/Senior Clinical Fellows from across the medical sub-specialties.
  • Take part in clinical audits, research and teaching others.
  • Participation in annual appraisals and job planning
  • Career progression is available for those who want to step up to Consultant level.
  • Support and supervise junior doctors in the delivery of clinical care. 
  • Ensure your own practice is up to date. Take responsibility for Continued Professional Development. 
  • Communicate with other departments clinically and managerially

Requirements:

The team are open to applicants from the UK or from overseas and will support you in settling into the new role.

  • Full MRCP (or equivalent post-graduate qualification) 
  • GMC Registration either waiting ID check or Complete
  • OET or IELTS
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
  • Registrar (or equivalent) level experience
