The Post
BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for a Locum Consultant Haematology post within a East Midlands NHS Trust.
The hospital would preref for you to hold an interest/experience in myeloma.
You will be part of a large Haematology team, but specifically the 3 Consultants within haemostasis and thrombosis.
The post has the benefit of all the academic opportunities available to a Consultant at University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Partners of Academic Health Sciences Centre.
Post Requirements
This post requires full FRCPath Haematology and a pass in IELTS/OET to evidence your English language skills.

The Role:

Role:
- Academic and cesr support provided for successful applicant in post
- The trust has modern spacious laboratories, both CPA and MHRA accredited, and are recognised by The Institute of Biomedical Sciences for training.
- Although a broad expertise in all aspects of Haematology is essential, the increased size of the department should allow for a greater degree of consultant sub-specialisation.
- The clinical duties of the post include the following:
? Provision of outpatient clinics. To include three general haematology clinics and the lymphoma clinic.
? Participation in the weekly haematology MDT.
? Provide cover and advice to the haematology day case unit, to include medical review if needed.
? Provide laboratory cover to include reporting of blood films, bone marrow aspirates, and clinical advice to other teams as needed.
