All Consultants are expected to contribute a proportion of their time to the General departmental workload and provision of a second subspecialty is encouraged but not mandatory.
Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in the Consultant Interventional Radiology on-call rota.
Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences.
Professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.
Contribution to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education activity.
Participation in medical audit, the Trust’s Clinical Governance processes and in CPD.
Managerial responsibilities where appropriate.
To maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Applications are invited for an NHS Consultant/Locum Consultant Breast Radiologist for an NHS Trust located in the Midlands.
There is an expectation that the post-holder will offer general radiological expertise and take part in routine work in the department. The department would be flexible in accommodating secondary areas of interest.
As a diagnostic radiologist you will be encouraged to further develop your CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine/PET, Fluoroscopy, Interventional expertise etc. This Trust will allow you to work flexibly to allow you to thrive.
On call: Currently 1:4-8 plus additional payments depending on intensity and frequency

The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his / her colleagues, to provide a comprehensive radiology service to United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) to the highest standard. From a base to be agreed provide reporting services to other sites within the trust. Any successful candidate may be expected to work on other sites within the Trust as required.
The post may be flexible to some degree based on workload and activity. Team work is very important.

The Radiology Directorate has an established audit programme with monthly clinical governance meetings regarding Clinical Radiology, in which you will be required to attend and participate. The programme is intended to be multidisciplinary whenever possible and also incorporate Trust-wide audit topics
