NHS Locum Consultant in Neuro-radiology
We have an exciting opportunity for an NHS Locum Consultant to work with a University Hospital in Neuro Radiology.
The Post:
- The Trust are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and pro-active doctor to join a well-established and mature high performing team of Neuroradiologists. The Neuroradiology team undertakes a whole range of diagnostic and interventional procedures pertaining to Neurosciences, Spinal and Head & Neck specialties and there is an active Professorial academic department.
- You should have received formal Diagnostic Neuroradiological Training. As a large supportive department, this role would be suitable for newly qualified or an established consultant. There will be capacity to develop personal areas of interest along with meeting the service needs of the department, Trust and Region.
Duties:
- To undertake programmed activities in paediatric imaging. Opportunities for development of the existing service will be supported where they reflect and support the needs of the local population and the development plans of the trust.
- Supervise junior medical staff.
- To lead/take part in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- To contribute to the training of the Specialist Registrars.

- Flexible job plans to be agreed in accordance with successful applicant’s areas of interest alongside service requirements.

- To have responsibility for and actively participate in continuing professional development (CPD).
