Duties of the post:

The department is staffed by a diverse multidisciplinary team and have a reputation of being friendly, welcoming and supportive. The medical staff have a variety of special interests and are happy to support and encourage Specialty Doctors in developing these. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Consultants and Registrars in the care of acute general medical inpatients. They will have the opportunity to take on calls as well as work in Ambulatory Care and develop their procedural skills.

? Contribution to managing inpatients with diabetes and endocrine problems as per job plan
? Contribution to managing GIM inpatients as per job plan
? Supervision of junior doctors and nursing staff
? Active participation in departmental meetings
? Contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
