- Dedicated SPAs for CESR support so that the successful applicant can progress to the Specialist Register.
Requirements:

NHS Locum Consultant in General Paediatrics
We are very pleased to be working with an outstanding NHS Trust in greater London that are looking to appoint a new NHS Locum Consultant in General paediatrics.
Duties:
- Participation in teaching and training of junior staff and those in other medical disciplines, nursing and support staff as appropriate.
- Participation in regional acute paediatric training (RAPT) and (where appropriate) neonatal training days to maintain acute paediatric and neonatal skills
- Research training, including GCP and clinical trial administration ? Participation in clinical governance activities including audits, and other supporting activities as directed by the needs of the service.
- Responding and engaging with any complaints or investigations within the trust
- Attending statutory, essential and mandatory training.
- Attending and keeping up to date with child safeguarding training as per trust requirements
- Educational Supervision of trainees.

- They offer an excellent on-boarding and induction programme which is geared towards international applicants.
- The post-holder will be required to maintain their continuing professional development (CPD) to be able to successfully revalidate. As per the Trust requirement the successful candidate will be required to have annual appraisal and attend / keep fully up to date with statutory and mandatory training as stipulated.
- SPAs will be provided as part of the successful applicant’s job plan for those building a CESR portfolio for GMC Specialist Registration.
