We are inviting doctors to join our busy but welcoming paediatric team based at the Leeds General Infirmary in West Yorkshire. Posts have become available in general paediatrics with on calls in general paediatrics. It is ideally suited to candidates wishing to work in a large hospital which provides many specialist services and is ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in paediatrics.
The Hospital itself caters for a population of over 1 million people and up to 3 million people in the wider region. We deliver care for, and training in, a wide range of paediatric specialties, including neonatology, paediatric intensive care, congenital cardiology and cardiac surgery, neurology, haematology & oncology, endocrinology, diabetes, rheumatology, respiratory and cystic fibrosis, nephrology, gastroenterology , hepatology , general surgery and urology and general paediatrics. A subspecialty interest is encouraged, and efforts will be made to accommodate preferences.
As the holder of this role you will be expected to assist on wards and in clinics as well as providing resident on-call cover.
