BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for a Consultant Neuroradiology post located at a London NHS Trust.
You will join a friendly, hardworking and supportive department.
Sub-specialty Neuroradiology interests are welcomed and will be accommodated where possible depending on the interests of the candidate and the requirements of the department.
You will contribute to the general Neuroradiology diagnostic work of the department, including on call. Laptops are provided for remote review of on call imaging. Consultants are expected to provide prospective cover for annual and study leave. Outsourcing occurs overnight.
Teaching and training: The Radiology service has 20 Specialist Trainees and Consultants are encouraged to contribute to the clinical education programme. Involvement in undergraduate medical education is also welcomed.
The Consultant job plan is agreed with the Clinical Director and the Senior Manager and will be tailored to suit the departmental clinical needs.
Flexible working options are available at the discretion of the Clinical Director and Senior Manager.
The Directorate operates an extended working day and would therefore anticipate that the agreed job plan would have an element of flexibility

The Trust has its own research department which provides excellent support for their employees interested in research and innovation.
This post was created to accommodate for the increase in the demand of imaging studies and chest biopsies, securing an adequate workload to each of the consultants. Their department provides the best technology for cardiothoracic imaging, with three 1.5 MRI and 3T scanners, including a wide bore, 1.5T cardiac optimized Siemens Aera MR scanner and a 3T VIDA Siemens and two dual energy CT scanners, including a Siemens FORCE scanner and it is fully integrated with PACS.
