The post:
- The successful applicant will join a dynamic, large and welcoming multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.
- The post holder will also be encouraged to take part in the department’s active research & audit programme, using timetabled study time, with the expectation of publishing and presenting regionally, nationally and internationally.
- The post also includes responsibilities to develop and contribute to continuing education, professional development and audit.
Duties of the post:
- Helping to ensure patient admissions run smoothly, efficiently and effectively by encouraging MDT working.
- Ongoing training of undergraduate and foundation staff as appropriate.
- Active participation in departmental meetings
- Participate in service development and improvement through commitment to clinical governance
- Take part in and lead as appropriate, team, departmental and regional audits. The post holder will be expected to organise and participate in clinical and organisational practice audit.
- Comply with GMC guidance on Good Medical Practice.

The post:
- This is an exciting post within general paediatrics. The successful candidate will undertake duties on the CAU, Paediatric Ward, Neonatal Unit (NNU) and in the Paediatric Outpatient Department, as well as attending delivery suite and the postnatal wards when required.
Duties of the post:
- Ensuring delivery of a high-quality Paediatric service.
- Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of general paediatric patients.
