We are seeking a ST3+ Trust Doctor in Gastroenterology to join a dynamic, motivated and innocative team within the Gastroenterology Department at a North West England NHS Trust.
Previous experience of Gastroenterology is essential.
The Gastroenterology Department provides services to a local population of approximately 650,000, with tertiary services (including UGI and HPB cancer services, viral hepatitis treatment, TIPSS and advanced endoscopy) offered to the extended area.
The successful candidate will be expected to be a part of 5 specialist registrars and 3 staff grades.
Participating in General Medicine on-call is required.

a) Ensuring patients are seen by an Orthogeriatrician (Consultant or Speciality Doctor) within 72 hours of admission
b) Completing the standardised falls and osteoporosis assessment documents c) Attending daily “board rounds” & multidisciplinary team meetings d) Working with the Specialist Nurse for Inpatient Osteoporosis to arrange osteoporosis investigations and treatment.
