Respiratory services and investigative facilities include; flexible bronchoscopy, EBUS, transbronchial biopsies, medical thoracoscopy, Pulmonary Function Laboratory, overnight oximetry, sleep studies and operation of a “fast track” straight to CT service for lung cancer.
We have a close working relationship with the Thoracic Surgery and Oncology departments at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and regional access to Difficult Asthma MDTs
We also participate in National COPD, Asthma and Lung Cancer Audits.

BDI Resourcing are seaching for an Acute Medicine Doctor to take an ST3+ position within a Manchester and North of England NHS University Teaching Hospital..
We have a dedicated built unit to deliver Same Day Medical Care. The unit is open from 08.00 to 22.00 and has eight treatment chairs, eight trollies, two clinic rooms, two side rooms and two RATS bay, delivering brilliant same day care. The AMU has 53 beds.
We are looking for an individual with excellent acute care skills, who will help us in our aim to return patients to their homes as soon as possible; staff will be required to be proactive in driving the patient journey and looking at all alternatives to admission beyond 12-24 hours as part of a close multidisciplinary team.
The Acute Medical team consists of nine Consultants and two Specialty Doctors.
You will have access to study leave and the experience will be equivalent to a training post. You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the substantive posts within the Trust.

BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for a Specialty Doctor Stroke Medicine in a North West England NHS Trust.
You will join a friendly and supportive department who will provide you with full CESR support.
The appointee is expected to be committed to the improvement of quality of clinical care in the Clinical Unit and to participate in incident reporting, risk management and Clinical Unit Governance Meetings.
The appointee is expected to compile an annual portfolio with evidence of continuing professional development in accordance with the Trust’s appraisal process. He/she will be expected to participate in annual appraisal by the Clinical Unit Director or other designated consultants and to produce a personal development plan which will be shared with the Medical Director and Chief Executive. The appraisal process will also be part of the information used to revalidate doctors by the GMC.
The appointee will be expected to actively participate in audit. S/he will be expected to initiate and supervise audit projects related to his/her particular sub-speciality interest. S/he will liaise with the audit speciality Lead Consultant. All audit projects, including Trust directed audit are approved by the Clinical Effectiveness and Audit Committee. Participation in national audit is encouraged.
