BDI Resourcing are seeking two international doctors to join the Internal Medicine Department at a North West England NHS Trust.
This is a clinical post in Acute General Medicine, to support the junior roles and lead as a Registrar in the department.
You will be required to support the junior team of the Acute Care Hub, which consists of the Short Stay Ward, Acute Medical Unity and Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit.
- To have regular meetings with the Educational Supervisor and have a yearly appraisal
- To be willing to travel between different sites/organisations in order to fulfil the requirements of the post
- Administration and Management
- The Registrar is expected to help with the smooth running of the team and with the setting up of regular audit & clinical governance work.
This post requires full MRCP and a pass in IELTS or OET.

a) Ensuring patients are seen by an Orthogeriatrician (Consultant or Speciality Doctor) within 72 hours of admission
b) Completing the standardised falls and osteoporosis assessment documents c) Attending daily “board rounds” & multidisciplinary team meetings d) Working with the Specialist Nurse for Inpatient Osteoporosis to arrange osteoporosis investigations and treatment.
