BDI Resourcing currently have 8 Consultant Intensivist positions available for International Doctors within a highly reputable and well recognised NHS Trust in the South East (short journey away from london)r
Role:
- The Critical Care Unit currently runs 13 beds and admits approaching 1000 patients per year.
- The unit is due to expand to 16 beds over the coming winter period.
- The patients are a wide mix of medical and surgical specialties and activity is steadily increasing with the consolidation of services on the site.
- The unit has a rota of eight intermediate grade medical staff provided by a combination of Core Medical, Intensive Care, ACCS and Anaesthetic trainees. These doctors provide 24 hour dedicated resident cover. Recruitment is currently ongoing to increase this rota to 12 persons, with two junior doctors present on the unit at nights and weekends.
- There is a dedicated full time secretary based within the unit as well as a full-time ward clerk and a two thirds time audit clerk. There are two offices and six desks and computers for use of ITU consultants.

BDI Resourcing have an exciting Clinical Fellow ST4+ post available for a Paediatric Emergency Doctor within a highly reputable NHS Trust in the South East
Role:
- Paediatric Clinical Fellow ST4+ in any of the following specialties: Paediatric Critical Care (HDU)/ Children's Emergency Medicine/General Paediatrics/OOPE
- This is a 90% Rota post
- A 10 bed HDU has dedicated consultant supervision provides daily care to children needing higher nursing ratios who are acutely unwell. There are also post-operative patients.
- You will gain exposure to children on long term home ventilation, with tracheostomies and in stabilisation of patients prior to transfer to PICU. Out of hours, the Children’s Emergency Consultant provides out of hours supervision/availability. We will endeavour for you to achieve the competencies for a SPIN in HDU.
- The majority of this role will be located within (JD1) the Children’s Emergency Department or (JD2) the Paediatric HDU Unit. However service commitment may need occasional cover of the general paediatric ward.
- There will numerous opportunities to attend the hospital teaching programme. You will also be expected to help teach our medical students.

Specialty Doctor - Adult Critical Care
BDI Resourcing are searching for an international Doctor to fill a Specialty Doctor post in Adult Critical Care in the South East of England.
Role:
- The major part of service consists of assisting in the day to day management of patients within the Critical Care areas.
- This includes airway management, resuscitation, establishing and performing cardiovascular and respiratory (and other organ system) monitoring and support, prescribing drugs and nutrition, and keeping regular medical notes for around 32 ICU patients.
- The post holder will be expected to undertake intra-hospital transfers on a regular basis, and inter hospital transfer on an infrequent basis.
- The post holder will be expected to perform invasive procedures (under the appropriate level of supervision).
- The postholder will spend a proportion of their day-time duties providing day to day clinical management in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), in consultation with the various medical and surgical teams.
- The postholder will be expected to provide support to more junior team members (F1 doctors and medical students) and supervise as well as teach those more junior trainees within the directorate.
- There are daily consultant rounds, 3 infection teaching rounds per week, and a protected morning teaching programme held within the Directorate of Intensive Care.

Consultant General Anaesthetist

Role:
- These are replacement posts that have arisen following the retirement of consultants.
- We would welcome candidates with an interest in Peri-operative medicine.
- Successful candidates will have the opportunity to provide anaesthesia for a variety of specialist and general surgical specialities including vascular, major urology, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, and elective orthopaedic and day surgical procedures.
- Sessions are available in a wide variety of surgical disciplines and successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their own subspecialty interests.
- In addition to the clinical responsibilities of the post the department is looking for a candidate who will bring to the department new skills, knowledge and techniques. This may include patient safety, quality improvement, management or research.

ST3+ Emergency Medicine
BDI Resourcing are looking for an international Doctor to fill an ST3+ position in an excellent Emergency Medicine department in the South of England
Role:
- This post is ideal for doctors who wish to obtain specific competencies to enable entry to formal training at ST3/4 level
- Clinical supervision, competency assessment and education are part of the package; each doctor will have an Educational Supervisor.
- The appointment is suitable for middle grade, clinical fellows and LAT doctors in Emergency Medicine.
- Previous experience in Emergency Medicine is essential.
- There is an intense and fully supported education and training program with generous provision for study leave with full funding.
- The department is a 24/7 designated Trauma Unit dealing with the full spectrum from critical illness, the acutely ill, major trauma and care for the ambulatory stream

Role:

medical education, medical leadership or clinical research.
