The Post:
The existing Emergency Department staff pride themselves on providing high quality clinical presence, together with high standards of education, training, research and audit. The post holders will work in close co-operation with nursing, managerial and medical colleagues to provide high quality healthcare to the Trust’s patients.
Duties of post:
- To provide a first-class clinical service to patients.
- To supervise and teach junior clinical staff.
- To participate in the teaching, research, audit and governance programmes within the Department.
- To develop professionally and take part in all service development.
- To take part in all development and appraisal processes.

Consultant Intensivist
BDI Resourcing currently have 8 Consultant Intensivist positions available for International Doctors within a highly reputable and well recognised NHS Trust in the South East (short journey away from london)r
Role:
- The Critical Care Unit currently runs 13 beds and admits approaching 1000 patients per year.
- The unit is due to expand to 16 beds over the coming winter period.
- The patients are a wide mix of medical and surgical specialties and activity is steadily increasing with the consolidation of services on the site.
- The unit has a rota of eight intermediate grade medical staff provided by a combination of Core Medical, Intensive Care, ACCS and Anaesthetic trainees. These doctors provide 24 hour dedicated resident cover. Recruitment is currently ongoing to increase this rota to 12 persons, with two junior doctors present on the unit at nights and weekends.
- There is a dedicated full time secretary based within the unit as well as a full-time ward clerk and a two thirds time audit clerk. There are two offices and six desks and computers for use of ITU consultants.

BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for a Specialty Registrar Emergency Medicine post within a South East England NHS Trust.
The post is designed to provide support for the Senior Consultant staff and to enhance the clinical supervision of junior doctors (FY2 and ST1-2’s) and to make a significant contribution to the service delivered to patients within the Emergency Department. You will join our five current specialty doctors.
You will have four years post Emergency Medicine experience.

SHO Emergency Medicine Trainee
The Post
BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for an SHO Emergency Medicine post within a South East England NHS Trust.
The successful candidates will be supported 24/7 by a team of seniors with regular teaching activities which supports career development either in emergency medicine or other specialties. There is an opportunity to develop further within the department and dedicated study leave and budget are available for the successful candidates.
The night shifts in the Emergency Department are currently staffed with 2 registrars and 3 junior doctors and will be expanded with this post. There is consultant on call and a senior registrar direct support during all night shifts.
