BDI Resourcing are partnered with a leading NHS Trust in the South East of England who are interviewing next week for several ST3+ Acute Medicine Doctors (SHO roles available here as well).
SHO - £39,467 + Uplift for On-Call commitments
ST3+ - £50,017 + Uplift for On-Call commitments
The post:
- 1 hour from London with excellent transport links and a very reasonable cost of living
- Senior support available in the department at all times in the form of either a consultant or more senior registrar grade doctor.
- Study leave can be arranged, subject to notice, for educational activities relevant to acute medicine. Relevant study-leave includes life-support courses, other general medicine courses, and preparation for exams.
- Funding is available for educational activities such as e-learning, and e-portfolio access.
- As a forward-thinking department, interested in reviewing outcomes and improving quality they encourage involvement in clinical audit.
Duties of post:
- The post holder will be supported and expected to fulfil the CPD requirements of the Royal College of Physicians.
- There will be regular appraisals and mentoring with an engaged and motivated Acute medicine Consultant.
- The post-holder will be strongly encouraged to work towards post-graduate examinations (if not already held).
Additional support:
- An excellent area for international doctors which has received outstanding reviews from previous candidates
- An excellent on-boarding and induction programme which is geared towards international applicants
- A personal educational supervisor will be appointed to the successful applicant.
- CESR support will be available upon request for the appropriate applicant.
- £60k per year with the possibility of relocation expenses for senior applicants.
Requirements:
- Full GMC or final stages of registration
- Full MRCP or equivalent
