The successful doctor will join a friendly, enthusiastic and innovative team, working with two other Medical Oncologists.
The role will include provision of outpatient clinics, attendance at MDTs and the Acute Oncology Service.

Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practise. You will have at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis).
Your previous experience will include responsibility for Acute Medical Care.
As well as clinical commitments, the posts do carry teaching/learning opportunities and attendance at accredited learning events will be encouraged and funded by the Trust.

You will join an enthusiastic, forward thinking and supportive team and the hospital are dedicated to providing their staff with personalised and flexible working patterns to support their professional interests and development.
The department provides diagnostic histopathology, non-gynae cytology and autopsy services. The workload includes a wide range of surgical and endoscopic specimens from all major specialties including general surgery, gastrointestinal, breast surgery, gynaecology, head and neck, GU medicine, urology and general medicine.
The department receives specimens from the Breast Screening Unit and fine needle aspiration cytology. There is no frozen section service. The department is fully computerised, which has just been upgraded to the Clinisys Winpath Enterprise system.
The histopathology laboratory is well equipped. There is a good collection of books and a multi-header microscope.
There is a comprehensive repertoire of Immunohistochemistry antibodies available with dedicated staff providing a high quality service.
