BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for a Haematology post within a Regional Cancer NHS Trust in the South East.

You will join a hard working, friendly and supportive department who will provide you with full CESR support to aid your career development.

The hospital is within an excellent UK location, just an hour away from Central London and good access to amenities. 

Duties and Responsibilites

  • Supporting outpatient and inpatient care of patients with haematology/oncology problems referred by General Practitioners and hospital colleagues.
  • Management of emergency admissions (with the support of the acute oncology service) consulting with relevant consultant as appropriate within working hours.
  • Undertaking clinical procedures such as bone marrow biopsies.
  • Opportunity of developing skills in peripheral blood film & bone marrow aspirate morphology under the supervision of consultant haematologist
  • Opportunity to learn or develop understanding of Oncology and Haematology chemotherapy regimens.
  • Take active role in MDT/SMDT meetings both locally and part of the larger Trust.
  • Supervising general medical junior doctors and non-consultant medical staff on the care of haematology/oncology inpatients.
  • Opportunity for teaching medical staff and non-medical staff as appropriate and in line with the guidance by the Postgraduate Dean and Clinical Tutor and FY1 Foundation year programme Director.

Post Requirements

This post requires full FRCPath Haematology and a pass in IELTS or OET to evidence your English language skills.
