Salary - £88,364 - £119,133

As a Clinical Director in the NHS, you’ll be working with a busy and ambitious hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a replacement whole time position as a Clinical Director and Consultant Radiologist. As an overview, you will have responsibility of providing medical and strategic leadership for the successful planning, delivery and reporting of clinical trials. You will direct and coordinate activities for radiology and diagnostic imaging in the hospital. Review work schedules and assign duties to staff to maintain patient flow and productivity.

You will be expected to have a minimum of 1 year NHS experience and at least 3 years leadership or managerial experience combined from the UK or overseas. Your clinical duties will be as an NHS Consultant in Radiology supporting the team of Consultants and Juniors across the Radiology Division. The post includes general radiology, and there is an on-call commitment. A sub-specialty interest in uro-radiology or minor interventional procedures and/or thyroid imaging and paediatric radiology would be welcomed.
Clinical and operational management forms part of the role and you will be expected to be involved as a leader in your career working across a multidisciplinary team. Equally you should be ready and prepared to work independently when required. The job itself will be consist of:
