This is a full-time Consultant in Respiratory Medicine position with General Medicine on calls. This post is a vital part of the Trust’s ongoing development of medical services, it gives the successful applicant the opportunity to work with the existing Respiratory physicians to provide a high standard of care across the Trust. The team are looking for doctors who have the motivation to become leading figures within the department as well as the wider organization.
The appointee will be expected to take charge of the care of inpatients and outpatients in the Respiratory Department. They will be expected to maintain the high standards of care associated with the hospital.

As a Registrar in the NHS, you’ll form a vital part of the General and Specialist Medical team working alongside an accomplished team of Consultants and junior medical doctors. The post holder will participate in the General Medical on calls or Acute Medical on calls. The work will be predominantly inpatient based although there will be an opportunity for out-patient clinic work if you are interested. These posts include out of hours duties, including evenings and weekends, you will also be expected to provide registrar cover for the Medical out of hours on-call commitments.
