BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor to join a South of England NHS Trust's Anaesthetics Department.
The Department provides general anaesthetic services for all the within the Trust. These include General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Maxillofacial Surgery, Urology and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
1. The day-to-day care and management of patients.
2. Anaesthetising patients in theatre with direct and indirect Consultant supervision for both elective and emergency cases which includes a commitment to the on call rota
3. Work in Intensive Care Unit including on call commitment under Consultant supervision.
4. Work in obstetric unit, including an on call commitment under Consultant supervision.
5. Advice to other staff.
6. Flexible use of time depending on the needs of the department. This may include undertaking fixed commitments out of normal working hours.
This post requires full EDAIC/FRCA and a pass in IELTS/OET.
BDI Resourcing are searching for an international Doctor to fill an ST3+ Specialty Intensivist Doctor position within a reputable NHS Trust.
Role:
The Ed Major Critical Care unit is a 28-bedded general intensive care unit admitting over 1100 patients per year, including regional specialties such as pancreatic surgery, thoracic surgery, neurology and cardiology. It has a reputation as a friendly unit with a large array of training opportunities including weekly Intensive Care teaching, Radiology teaching and a journal club.
The posts will form part of a resident full shift rota with other senior trainees, senior clinical fellows and specialty doctors. The successful applicants will be responsible for the resuscitation, stabilisation and ongoing management of critically ill patients within and outside the unit, under consultant supervision.
The posts can be adapted to give time to pursue a subspecialty interest within Intensive Care Medicine, e.g. transfer/retrieval, critical care echocardiography/ultrasound, follow-up clinic and anaesthesia. Alternatively, dedicated time can be provided for research projects or educational activities
