BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for a Middle Grade Paediatrics post with a special interest in Diabetes.

There are a number of opportunities available across the UK.

The successful doctor must be able to participate in a full range of daytime clinical activities. You will play a significant role in the management of inpatients, as well as expected to deliver regular outpatients clinics. The post offers unique training opportunities in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, including exposure to treatment and management of Rare Bone Disorders. A range of services are provided from secondary care for local population, through to specialist care provision. There will be the opportunity to participate in research, teaching and audits.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to specialist paediatric endocrinology clinics within the outpatient department
  • Provide day to day ward based care for acute general paediatric patients when needed in partnership with the general ST’s and attending consultants and specialists when needed.
  • To organise / observe / participate in dynamic tests in a the daycase unit and on the ward when needed
  • Participate and be creative in the audit / research programme of the department.
  • To supervise and support the ST's
  • To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care
  • Participation in the acute General Paediatric registrar on call rota (nights not included)
  • To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training

Post Requirements

You will need full MRCPCH or FCPS Pakistan and a pass in IELTS/OET to evidence your English language skills.
