A leading regional cancer centre are looking to add an NHS Locum Consultant in Clinical Oncology to join their expanding Lung and Lower GI teams to provide specialist radiotherapy and clinical care to the centre’s surrounding catchment. The Cancer Centre is part of a University Hospital Trust which serves a population of nearly 2 million. There are several hospital sites, and this post is likely to be based at the two main Oncology hospitals. The radiotherapy facilities provided in the two main hospitals include CT simulators and LinAcs. Treatment is VMAT delivered with IGRT and there will be the opportunity to work in SABR and brachytherapy. There are custom-built Oncology outpatient clinics and chemo units and a well-established acute oncology service which is well-staffed by nurses.
