ST3+ in General/Acute Medicine

£51,017 - £66,197

Main Duties:

These positions are at a Specialist Registrar grade in General and Acute Medicine. This is perfect for doctors who have completed a couple of years at Registrar level and would now like to join a long-term Trust, who can support them with either getting a training number or going through CESR.

You may also cover wards in the following specialties: Diabetes and Endocrinology, Care of the Elderly and Infectious Diseases.

Other main duties for this post includes:

  • Participate in the Registrar on call rota and provide a senior in put
  • Provide supervision for junior doctors either on the medical wards or when out of hours
  • Ensure that there is a high standard of patient safety care
  • Working along-side the Consultant to run a safe, friendly ward and assist junior doctors’ day-day
  • Can work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Complete OPD’s
  • Participate in quality improvement, research, and audits
  • Teaching Medical doctors and Nurses
