• To develop the existing urology cancer oncology services across the Trust.
  • To provide Uro-oncology service.
  • To take responsibility for the designated clinical workload including outpatient clinics, radiotherapy treatment planning, peer review and in-patient workload.
  • To develop and promote protocols relating to treatment options for urology cancers with a focus on kidney cancer.
  • To participate in the on-call oncology and radiotherapy rota.
  • To provide postgraduate teaching for junior staff
  • To provide clinical supervision for specialist registrars
  • To coordinate and participate in undergraduate teaching
  • To comply with all the clinical governance processes and procedures of the Trust
  • Compliance with Patients’ Charter and Purchasers’ requirements
  • To maintain Continuing Professional Development accreditation as per Royal College of Radiologists guidelines
  • To participate in the Trust appraisal program and GMC revalidation processes.

Requirements: Full GMC, FRCS preferable
