Additionally, one day a week (except when on night duties) will be allocated for contribution to and development of the Simulation programme, participating in the delivery of the Paediatric/Neonatal days, as well as engaging with the other activities of the Simulation Centre.

We are keen to appoint a dynamic Consultant Medical Oncologist to join our team of 54 Consultant Oncologists working whole-time or part-time in the regional units (22 of whom are University appointments).
The post-holder will also participate in a 1:25 rota for Consultant of the week, AOS for the oncology ward and triage at the Hospital. We are keen that the post holder undertakes and supports the development of our telemedicine clinics, and there will be the opportunity to contribute to service improvement projects in this field.
The oncology department in Oxford moved into a £110M comprehensive diagnostic and treatment cancer centre in 2009. Chemotherapy is prescribed using a pan cancer network e-prescribing system (Aria). The department works closely with the University Department of Oncology providing excellent opportunities for collaborative cancer research.

This appointment comes at an exciting time as we prepare to expand our PICU bed base to meet rising demand and become a major trauma centre.

We are looking for an outstanding, forward-looking radiologist to join our friendly team of 22 consultant radiologists (18.9 wte), comprising 14 general, 4 musculoskeletal and 4 interventional radiologists.
The successful applicant will provide a full range of radiology including CT, MRI, plain film, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. Participation in orthopaedic, rheumatology and sarcoma multidisciplinary team meetings is also expected. There will also be a component of general cross-sectional radiology within the job plan. We have a dedicated built unit to deliver Same Day Medical Care. The unit is open from 08.00 to 22.00 and has eight treatment chairs, eight trollies, two clinic rooms, two side rooms and two RATS bay, delivering brilliant same day care. The AMU has 53 beds.
We are looking for an individual with excellent acute care skills, who will help us in our aim to return patients to their homes as soon as possible; staff will be required to be proactive in driving the patient journey and looking at all alternatives to admission beyond 12-24 hours as part of a close multidisciplinary team.
The Acute Medical team consists of nine Consultants and two Specialty Doctors.
You will have access to study leave and the experience will be equivalent to a training post. You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the substantive posts within the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated Oncology Speciality Doctor to join our busy oncology directorate based in a Manchester NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work with a team of clinical and medical oncologists. The post holder will provide support to the oncology team which includes a total of 25 clinics per week and two chemotherapy departments (20 sessions per week in total).
The post holder will be required to provide clinical support in most areas of cancer (all tumour groups except for rare and very complex cancers which are referred to the local Cancer Centre). We are specifically looking for a speciality doctor with training and some experience in medical oncology across the range of ‘common’ tumour types.

The successful candidate will be expected to work across the hospital sites to provide clinical advice, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention and control services. The out-of-hours on-call duty is shared equally.
