We are looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in General Paediatricsto join the Paediatric team at this busy Manchester Hospitals NHS Trust. It is a friendly and busy unit and offers excellent clinical experience.
The post holder will be a part of the Middle Grade Paediatric team taking part in the on-call and out of hours rota as part of a full shift system that is fully EWTD-compliant.
During this post the successful applicant will rotate through work in the General Paediatrics Ward, Paediatric A&E, the Paediatric Day Case Unit and on the Level 1 NNU. Additionally, one day a week (except when on night duties) will be allocated for contribution to and development of the Simulation programme, participating in the delivery of the Paediatric/Neonatal days, as well as engaging with the other activities of the Simulation Centre.
There is a separate dedicated paediatric outpatient department. We have a number of visiting tertiary consultants who provide outreach clinics. The department has an excellent reputation for teaching and supervision.

BDI Resourcing are searching for an international doctor to fill the post of Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist within a busy NHS Trust in Greater Manchester.
The Role:
We are keen to appoint a dynamic Consultant Medical Oncologist to join our team of 54 Consultant Oncologists working whole-time or part-time in the regional units (22 of whom are University appointments).
The post-holder will also participate in a 1:25 rota for Consultant of the week, AOS for the oncology ward and triage at the Hospital. We are keen that the post holder undertakes and supports the development of our telemedicine clinics, and there will be the opportunity to contribute to service improvement projects in this field.
The oncology department in Oxford moved into a £110M comprehensive diagnostic and treatment cancer centre in 2009. Chemotherapy is prescribed using a pan cancer network e-prescribing system (Aria). The department works closely with the University Department of Oncology providing excellent opportunities for collaborative cancer research.

Role:
The successful applicant will join 5 other consultants providing community Paedatric services. There are also 11 other paediatric consultants providing shared responsibilities for neonatal intensive care (level 2), general paediatrics, and speciality pediatrics services including diabetes, renal medicine, respiratory medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, epilepsy within an integrated child health service which includes CAMHS.
This appointment comes at an exciting time as we prepare to expand our PICU bed base to meet rising demand and become a major trauma centre.
Academic interests will be encouraged; research and teaching in collaboration with local University Hospital's School of Medicine will be expected.
