To work in Medicine or Medicine sub-specialties, such as Cardiology, Rheumatology, Respiratory or Dermatology, you will need to obtain full MRCP to evidence your knowledge and skills and work at ST3+ level. You will also need a pass in IELTS or OET to evidence your English language skills.

If you chose to sit the exam in the UK, it will cost you £419. If you choose to sit your exam internationally, it will cost you £594.

MRCP Part 2 has 200 questions in a two-paper format, which will be sat in one day.
Each paper has 100 questions and they are three hours in duration.

It is important to note that the above composition is just a guide, the number can vary for each sub-specialty by 2%.
The questions will usually have a clinical scenario, which may include images such as pathology slides, x-rays, MR scans, clinical photographs, ECGs etc. The question will ask you for an investigation, diagnosis, management and prognosis of patients using the multiple-choice answers.
You should note that that each correct answer is awarded one mark and there is no negative marking within the entire exam.
